Mallorca is an island in the western Mediterranean, about 200 kilometres from Valencia, Barcelona, and Algiers. It is the largest of the Balearic Islands (3 640 square kilometres), 170 kilometres in length from Sant Elm to Cap de Formentor, and 70 kilometres in latitude. Palma is its capital.

This island is known mainly for its beautiful bays and beaches. Every visitor will find a suitable place to enjoy Mallorca: the tourist centres offer lively nightlife, and away from the towns you will find idyllic villages and lonely beaches.

Mallorca offers participants of a language course the chance to combine it with a vacation at the beach. After your lessons, you can put your knowledge to the test by talking to the local people since Spanish has become one of the official languages. Most towns on the island offer a great variety of leisure activities.

The Language School is about 4 kilometres east of Palma, in Can Pastilla on the seaside promenade. Right in front of the school is the Playa de Palma with its white sands, clean and beautiful water.
